COURSE OVERVIEW: This class will examine valuation and focus on investment vehicles and strategies used daily in the business field. Important topics we will review include: investors allocation of financial assets by forming, managing and evaluating portfolios containing instruments from stocks to bonds, option contracts and mutual funds.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: Upon completion of this course, you will:
Understand investment process
Evaluate the decision making process in the portfolio managers view
Analyze equity and fixed income portfolios
Discover professional assets
Describe individual investments.
