Course Overview: This course is part of the Ethereal Doctorate Degree Program in Bereavement at the School of Grief Education of AITU.
It is a 6-hour semester course that must be completed within 6 weeks.
The aim of this course is to provide students with an overview of major ethical issues in counseling and how to handle a variety of situations in practice, including self-awareness, multicultural sensitivity, legal issues, confidentiality, boundaries, multiple relationships, issues surrounding consultation and supervision, and a selection of ethical issues related to working with couples, families, groups, and communities.
Course Assignments: There are 15 assignments for which the student has two mandatory books as materials. The student may make use of the materials from the complete program and what they seem appropriate and relevant material located elsewhere in the public domain.
