This course provides an overview of treatment planning for grief counseling. It will cover the fundamentals of grief counseling, including the various stages of grief and how to effectively address them. The course will also discuss different types of treatment plans and how to develop effective treatment plans based on individual client needs. Additionally, the course will explore case studies and use cases that demonstrate successful treatments for grief counseling. Finally, the course will provide guidance on how to assess a client’s progress in order to measure success.
This course is part of the Accelerated Doctorate in Grief Counseling program at AITU. Its aim is to provide you with a background in identifying presenting problems and developing goals, objectives and other aspects to assist clients in making progress in therapy while enhancing the therapeutic alliance. It is a 6-hour semester course that should be completed in 6 weeks.
