Education Assessment is a course that focuses on the various methods and approaches used to assess student learning in educational settings. It aims to provide students with an understanding of the different types of assessment and how they can be used to evaluate student learning and inform teaching practices.
This is an advanced course that prepares you to effectively assess students in the classroom using various methods. In this course you will learn how to successfully create assessments that are valid, reliable, and varied. When finished you will have a grasp of the fundamental concepts of creating student assessments in an elementary classroom. This is a 4 credit hour course and is allotted 6 weeks of time.
