Treatment Planning is a course that focuses on the process of developing and implementing a plan for providing treatment to individuals with mental health or behavioral health issues. It is designed to provide students with an understanding of the principles and techniques of treatment planning and how to use this process to effectively support individuals in their recovery.
Course Overview: This course is part of the Ethereal Master Program in Grief Therapy at the School of Grief Education of AITU. It is a 6-hour semester course that must be completed within 6 weeks. The goal of this course is to provide students with a working understanding of how to design and facilitate a counseling support group for bereavement and loss. Course topics will include understanding the therapeutic advantages of support groups, how to set up/organize a support group for bereavement, qualities of an effective group facilitator, handling common issues/prob-lems within a counseling support group, and self-care for the counselor Remember, do not hesitate to contact me with questions about the course, to e-mail me your weekly material or feedback at E.Slebos@aituedu.org.
