The Purpose of this course is to explore the American law pertaining to private sector collective bargaining, covering the National Labor Relations Act in depth. The course will emphasize the workplace in which the union represents the interest of the employee. Various labors laws, collective bargaining, contract negotiations, and unfair labor practices highlight the topics that will be covered. Additionally, issues from the non-union workplace will be examined.
