Welcome to Project Management, a business degree Bachelor Level course. I am pleased to be your instructor for this course, which will be a foundational course for the remainder of your studies in the bachelor program.
This is a sophomore level non-software based course that prepares the student to handle important tasks associated with various business careers that may require management of organizational projects. This course will focus on the student gaining a basic understanding of project management skills and how to effectively control organizational projects. Upon course completion, you will have an understanding that project management is the allocation, tracking, and utilization of organizational resources to meet the requirements of a particular project within a specified period of time.
Please read all weekly assignments thoroughly that includes chapters in the text and possible supplements to that week’s discussion as it will assist you in completing your assignments. You will find the text to be a helpful resource, not only for this course, but a reference tool in your career.
