Philosophy of Education is a course that examines the fundamental principles and concepts that underlie the field of education. It is designed to help students understand the different philosophical perspectives on education and how they shape our understanding of teaching and learning.
Philosophy of Education is a course that provides an opportunity to examine some of the important ideas of the major philosophers of educational practice. The course will provide opportunities for students to develop a logical and practical philosophy of education. The course will also provide opportunities to examine and analyze important aspects of your own educational system regardless of where you operate and regardless of the prevailing cultural, ideological and material backgrounds. This is a 4 credit hour course and is allotted 6 weeks of time.
